There's only one Tommy !
El Maestro Andres Segovia.
"I consider the guitarra the most beautiful instrument that man has created ...... this was my destiny"
Ah, okay, thanks for telling me. I guess a solution may be in the pipeline then ......
I have a performance set up with two different rigs using morph rise times (2.5secs) to a PPTC module at 12 and morphing from 0 to 100% mix and volume from 0 to +2
My heel pitch and toe pitch are both at 12.
If I switch from one rig to the other from an unmorphed state - all is fine and both morphs work as expected but if I switch from a morphed state, the first morph on the new rig does not 'rise' - it is instant.
The second time I morph, it behaves as it should and rises.
Aha, yes I uploaded the white noise files. If I get them first I'll be sure to put them up asap
The wahs are always up-to-date and available to all, lento.
All instructions, settings and presets documented and downloadable:
Hmmm ..... I uploaded my Fulltone Clyde Deluxe over a month ago but can't see it there .... Have messaged Don Peterson about it but not heard back yet
By the way, how does it work - do we wait on the next 'update' to get the recent uploaded wahs ?
Tried to post the Al Di Meola, Paco de Lucía, John McLaughlin concert from way back but not available anymore due to copyright ....
Meanwhile, one of my favourite musicians - and a very humble Yorkshire man .....
I probably have around 600 because I bought it like that. However, I soon realised that around 20 or so were to my particular liking and these were assigned as favourites (in the Rig Manager) - the result being, I can easily navigate through them as you can choose to browse Favourites only etc ....
You also have the option to auto assign any edits you make and store in the Kemper as a favourite.
Good to see you here, Wazmeister -
Thank you - yes, those are two good solutions !
I've been experimenting with trying to create a portamento synth effect and one way I found was to morph between a 0% and 100% mix of an octave using a rise time of 2.5 secs. This gives a sound similar to the Boss Feedbacker.
That got me thinking of whether I could morph between predefined intervals in the user scales of the harmoniser section. Again using a rig defined rise and fall time.
Alas, no, i couldn't do it ....
Also, I wondered if I could crossfade between 2 rigs set with different user scales and achieve something similar .... but the crossfade time is presumably in ms.
Wondering whether this could be extended to a few secs .....
So two questions:
Is it possible to increase the rig crossfade time ?
Is it possible to morph between or within user scales or any scale ?
There's a big price difference between them - £299 for Headrush v £199 for the Alto !
OOPS ... that's for the Alto TS212.
The 312 is £289 ....
I've heard this is a re-worked Alto TS212 ....
Anyone tried that ..... or compared the two ?
Ahhh ..just relaised there is another thread that compares them !
Have to say that the compressor in the amp circuit is eminently playable - especially for clean pickin' Country style ...
A bit like the old Orange Sqeezer by Dan Armstrong ....
Wish it was available in the stomp section - to 'drive and pump' other effects ....
but why mic the monitors - just make Direct Profiles by plugging the output of the Rockman directly into the RETURN INPUT of the Profiler.
That's a good idea - it didn't occur to me as I thought I might need a D.I. box (which I don't have)
Thanks to all who recommended this way
Should have time to do this in a couple of days .......
No, I don't normally lock them in either mode.
Hmmm .... it all seems to work alright for me .....
I went back and forth a few times and changed presets and performances to rule out anything that might be left 'in the cache' so to speak (not that I expected it to)
I'm on 220.127.116.1163
Yes, I have his 'Rockwoman' and it's very good - like most of his stuff
Just wondering if anyone has tried profiling rack guitar processors. I have a rockman xpr (currently up for sale) and before it sells (or may not) thinking it would be nice to grab a few favourite presets .....
It only sounds good through a desk and monitors - not though a guitar amp - so I'd be basically profiling the monitors (Dynaudio BM12a)
Anything to bear in mind or thoughts ....?
One Wah I'd like to see profiled is the Castledine.
Stuart Castledine makes some of the best Wahs on the planet for the recreation of 60's Vox and Coloursound.
Custom pot and taper and very tweakable for highs and lows ......
