I was not thinking of plugging it into a rack, I was considering buying one, as it would mean just taking one unit out, as opposed to a rack and a remote. I thought I'd said that..

I can see those with pots of cash could retain the head in the studio then just load stuff onto the Stage for gigs....
Well apart from the 'pots of cash' bit, it was my thought, also not carrying round a rack & separate remote.

Click on my Kemper link, it's all there...

To Kemper - Is your sales page dedicated to sales in The USA? As your prices are in US dollars, and the paypal credit offer is seeming only available to US residents?
No preference for European sales?, or am I looking at the wrong page, but that's where your link has sent me.
OK, I found the UK page by Googling. Anyone else in the UK, FYI -

It's a UK abbreviation for 'Old Aged Pensioner'. lol

I don't think Germany has ever produced anything that was crap, apart from Nena's - '99 luftballons'.....

In my understanding & phrasing, a 'cranked amp' is one that has the gain & the volume turned up high. I'd imagine that a 'cranked profile' is a profile that has been created by setting an amp with its gain & volume very high.
-
Apologies if someone else has already mentioned this -
I use high gain amps. I profiled my Engl Richie Blackmore, and sold it, as the profile reproduced the amp perfectly.
This man sells profiles, of which I have compared to some of the actual amps, and his work is excellent.
Check them out.

Choptones profiles are excellent too.

I know quite a few musicians who play in 'Git mode'... lol

You have done a very good job here. So often people just play the same 'thrashy' type metal riffs, and not solos or single notes. To me, tonal differences are far more obvious when you hear them in the context of a solo. If I didn't already love my Kemper, your video would have convinced me!
Great work

Oddly enough, I 'still' have my red kidney pod, from many years ago. It has no resale value, overdrive sounds are not very good. However, the chorus, delays, reverbs and tuner are still great.
It's built like a tank, and I'll always keep it.
I may 'never' use it again, but such is life....
Joking apart, although still having my red Pod was true, I have no idea why folks on here have the need to constantly spout endless words, about why they 'like' or 'dislike' this or that product. If you like it, use it, if not, then sell it and buy something you do like. Whatever, please refrain from the desire to tell the rest of us all about it, we don't need to know. Chiefly, those who have sold their Kemper and have bought 'whatever' in preference. Why do you stay on this forum, if you have sold a Kemper? Should you not leave us in peace, and traverse/frequent the forum of your new bit of kit instead?
Clearly I'm missing something in my life, as I keep my preferences to myself, as it's not of any interest to anyone else (HINT!)

Years ago, one of my cats peed on my Boss ME-80 and it was enough to kill the pedal...
I had an ex-wife who regularly used to 'piss on my parade', thankfully she kept away from my effect pedals.... lol

and please clarify the point you're trying to make.
Indeed. I suffered enough ambiguity when I was married.... lol

I use a 'QSC K8' for onstage monitoring. Not too big, and it sounds very good. 2000 watts at my disposal.... lol

'Ways to make a Kemper sound great' - Just turn it on....

Very subjective piece of gear. To some it's 'snake oil', to other folks, it adds a 'certain something'. Personally, I have one and 'like' it!
The OP asked how to connect it , not a critique of its merits....

Well, I do wonder, why people come on here to mention, "They have sold their Kemper" etc. Surely that's the end of their story, and is there any benefit to us hearing of their supposed 'unhappiness' with said product?
Call me sceptical, but I am more likely to blame 'operator error' than product issue.
And 'no', I am not a sycophantic Kemper-ite, I just extol the virtues of a very excellent product!
