Hi, I have a Marshall 410h like new condition
Cool. On the road and will message you by the morning. ?
Hello I have a Mesa Mark V
Great amp but I already had one already. Love the tones but wasn't able to make my own out it. Although I do have a profile of one that I enjoy. Thanks man but have to pass on the V.
I just bought the Stage and thinking, feeling about selling or trading my powered head in excellent condition. Even has the screen protector in tact. Less than a year old. I am leaning more in trading for a solid tube head. Will include all my commercial profiles I have.
Amp heads I am looking for, not in any particular order below. Looking for heads that are in great condition and are not abused. Depending on the amp, some cash either way will be the reality.
1. Mesa Tremoverb
2. Marshall 410H
3. Mesa Roadster
Message me if you have something on this list or even not on my list. Open to hear what you have. I am not 100% sure I will get rid of the powered head because I really love it but with the Stage, I really don't think I will need it anymore. I am here in the United States.
Looking forward to downloading them and trying them out. Thank you
I profiled my main sounds using the Kemper DI box. Worked awesome. I used a real cab to monitor and test.. They were pretty close to confuse which was which in a blind test.
You rock!! Thank you!!
He'll deliver it when the editor arrives...

anyone tried the afd from deadlight?
All I know is that I have been stuck on stupid with many of the Deadlight's Marshall 410h profiles lately on the rig exchange... Insanely good.
100% for me too deadman42 .. He and John were both my Kemper motivators. ?
Talked a little with him during the recording a couple months back and this whole CD is all Kemper.
Display MoreHi mate
I actually sold my kemper recently.
Loved the unit for producing “recorded tones” but was constantly fighting to get that “amp in the room ” tone!
I finally realised that only a valve amp will give you that, 3 dimensional , “amp in the room tone” NO digital modeller or profiler, can reproduce a valve amp tone (in the room)
I stand by my initial assessment that the kemper produces awesome recorded tones and if your ears can get used to this then it is an incredible solution. For me , the difference in “feel” and lack of a “3 dimensional , amp in the room tone” finally became a deal breaker. I play live and I simply , couldn’t get used to hearing a “recorded” tone.
I recently bought into the synergy system and o have never been more happy with my tone.
Lastly , I do not think the kemper actually “profiles” amps. My gut feel is it works off generic algorithms for amp models, cabs and microphones.
IN MY OPINION : Too many amp models sounded the “same” to my ears. I tried the kemper through FRFR and a guitar cab . I also tried loads of different profiles (direct and merged) - (paid and free) and I’m not sure this product , is any better than a helix or any other modeller. once again this is only MY OPINION. If it works for you - enjoy it.
I’m simply not a digital guy and can now say , I have completely given up on digital, amp modelling products.
I thank all of you for your help whilst I owned the kemper and I would like to wish all of you a healthy , happy life.
I respect your words Conrad. Sometimes going back to what you know is what is truly you. No harm no foul. I struggled with some profiles for live being a cab user as well until I did profile my own amps. Was the profiles 100%? No, I say they were about 98% spot on but to me felt better and sounded better. Lol. I finally have some live profiles were I smile. About 10 that live in my unit. Have fun and enjoy.
Not my full setup. Just bought a new place and of course I needed to unwind a bit so I quickly set up to play awhile. Full rig pic coming soon.
Display MoreHi all
I have made some interesting profiles of my DR rev F (settings used by M.Tremonti, Andy Sneap on Nevermore DHDW album, DR with Big Muff, zero treble with pushed mids and presence trick, Lichtbringer boost pedal...). They are Direct amp profiles with CAB attached. Try them and I would welcome some feedback from you.
Enjoy
Petr
Thank you very much. Looking forward to trying them
I love running powerhead throught my 412 still. Although I do use an FRFR as a monitor at times. But from low home practicing volumes to gig volumes, I prefer my cabinet. It just feels and sounds right to me.
Great band SliderJeff . A few years back I was having lunch with Mike Varney of Shrapnel and he turned me onto these guys by giving me their CD at the time. I dig them.
Welcome 1moreguitarist ! Looking forward to hearing more from you and the band. Making the switch to Kemper from traditional was quite fun for me. Once I figured out that the eq'ing and fine tuning the amp profiles is the key, I haven't looked back.
Very cool! Looking forward to trying them out. Love DI profiles. ?
