Really think we could use a boss ce-2 or 3.
-
Really wish they would add just a simple boss ce-3 or ce-2. Feel like the chorus effect has been somewhat neglected.

Would love to get ahold of these tones as well!

I agree running it @25 watts IS loud as heck. That's why I'm wondering if anyone had actually ran it at like 400-500 watts daily for a length of time and how it held up. I would really think someone has done this with all the touring Kempers out there. Not everyone goes direct. I wonder if Kemper/B&O tested this amp at full rated output in like the EVH test. (running it cranked for a month and see if it lived)
Do you know the brand of power amp that's in these?

Yeah I'd have to say I'm curious about this as well. Running my 4x12 cab @ 16ohms I hit the 100 watt mark on the meter which equates to 25 watts @ 16ohms and its freaking loud.

I've had a power rack ran into my standard 4x12 Marshall Cab and I love it. Cant say I've ever been disappointed with it.

This is no different than a band showing the cover of an album and then it being released months down the road. Nothing wrong with creating a buzz and excitement on something new.

Thanks! And I don't need to change a setting in the Kemper for that, right? Just plug and play?
There in nothing that you have to select in the kemper when using different ohm speaker cabs.

I have been using the alternative input on the back of my kemper rack fine for a long time.
I run a mix of different external pedals as my front-end, changing them regularly, and have never had any issues with noise until recently.
I have a couple pedals that when they are in my chain there will always be excessive noise, making them unusable. If I move from the rear alternative input to the front of the kemper, then the problem goes away.
Anyone experienced this issue or know what the official word on this might be?

Yes you may buy the Axe!
Get an Axe Fx and see for yourself. We can all tell you that the KPA does a killer job creating high gain tones, but you are the ultimate judge of your own sound. I got the KPA, profiled my own amps and they are the primary profiles that I use, but some of the profiles that I have installed are killer and I play high gain stuff.
YOU ARE YOUR OWN JUDGE.

I profiled my own amps and it’s really all I use.

I was under the impression that I could use the Katana as a Power Amp, what advantages does a regular Guitar Cab have?
My main use with the Kemper will be headphones due to thin walls haha.
Which Guitar Cab would you recommend?
What about Studio Monitors?
I have the power rack so I just use my 4x12 marshall cab. Been that way for going on 2 years and I love it.
-
My 2 cents would be play through a regular guitar cab.

When I first got mine in Nov of 2019 I profiled my Peavey JSX with a beta 57 in my garage and it’s really the only profiles I use for my metal band. It’s perfect and was so simple.

Say what?

One thing too I think about the power amp of the Kemper is, think about all the solid state bass amps that are pretty small but put out a lot of power! The Kemper is loaded and has plenty of power. I may hit 35 to 40 watts on some chunky palm muting stuff and that’s with a full loud ass metal band. Love this thing.

I use custom Alclair IEM's with mine and I love the sound of my kemper in them.

I have a rehearsal tonight with my Kabinet so I'm going to see how many watts I'm pulling...I knowm its nowehere near the 200 watt speaker maximum
I use my power rack through a 4 x 12 Marshall @ 16ohms and have the master at -17 and I'm lucky if I ever hit 50 watts, which on the meter is 200 watts. Always keep in mind about the wattage meter being calibrated for 4 ohms.
