I bought the Kemper about a week ago with 1.8 installed. I've installed 2.01 but none of the pitch shift effects are available. Do l need to go back and install 2.0 and then 2.01? Thanks

One method to find them:
Browse through the Presets (did you "load Factory presets" when you installed v2.01?)
Find the ones that start with "Pitch"
Another Way to find them:
Press A,B,C,B,X, or MOD button.
Turn the TYPE knob.
They are toward the end of the FX Type list.

Like paults said.
No need to roll back firmwares.All the FX are there (use the type knob) but if you want new FX presets you have to retrieve the factory presets from the system menu.

I notice that version 2.0 is a larger file than 2.01
That's because the 2.0.1 zip file doesn't contain the "Manuals" folder.

The Type knob can be used to look at the different kinds of effects - using it, the effect is enabled with a default setting.
The Browse knob will show any FX presets (factory, user, or downloaded). I haven't checked for factory Pitch presets for each type of Pitch effect - if one isn't there, the effect can't be found that way.

Importing the rigs was just to get some Factory rigs that use the effects.
Using the "Type" knob with an active FX slot finds them, whether those rigs are loaded or not.

Yes but with 2.0.0 there's also new FX presets from the mothership, that's why it's a good idea to import the factory rigs again...
