Rush - Tom Sawyer Settings

    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a rig to sound like the synth/organ parts on Tom Sawyer? I'm guessing pitch shifter and whammy but I'm not having a ton of success. Any help would be appreciated. I'm tryin to cover the non-guitar/bass parts on a LP. Thanks.

    If you haven't already, try using some of the FX rigs that I have posted as a starting point - you can likely get something useful from the ones that have synth or strings references in their names. Fortunately, the synth sounds on that album sounded like synths, so you should be able to get close to the sounds. Search for "paults".


    Use the version from "All the world's a stage" to design your sounds - he was layering fewer sounds back then.
