Muddy sound when i reduce guitar volume

    Hi Guys, just got my power rack and i love it, i do however have a slight issue with it (user error i'm sure). When i'm playing with my guitar volume flat out, with a distorted sound, no probs BUT when i reduce guitar volume my sound goes muffled !! What am I doing wrong, or what do I need to do to stop this happening ?

    Hi and welcome! I'd suggest to check your noise gate settings, if the threshold is set to high it may affect your tone. Check for both the one in the input section and noise gates in stompps or effects slots.
    Do you have a similar effect with your (tube?) amp, too?
