Hi all, just hooking up my new Kemper today and one of the things I was very keen to try out is playing back tracks through the KPA to play along with. So I've connected the iPad into the AUX in & direct return jacks and I'm getting sound but it's awful. Turning up AUX IN volume makes no difference, other than volume of course! Mono sounding, fizzy and has the rig effects applied to it. It's far far better playing through Postive Grid BIAS & Jamup.
Now I thought I'd read on this forum that this worked fine, but looking through now I can't find that particular thread. I sure this is just newbie stupidity, but if someone can help me out I'd be eternally grateful!

Do you have a loop active on the Profiler?

its simple-just make sure that none of the stomps or effect slots is occupied by a loop as that will take over the return inputs. That would explain why your ipod has some of the effects etc from the rig applied to it.

Is the cable ok? Does the ipad sound ok through headphones? What cable exactly are you using?
