An old law school friend has asked me to sit in with his band next week, so I'm learning a few new tunes. I'm using one of the factory Matchless profiles for this one:
A little Toad the Wet Sprocket

I'm a huge Toad fan! My friend has a Marshall that came from the SoCal studio they recorded a lot of those tracks in...I have dibs if he ever decides to sell....
-
Amazing tone, great playing. Like it a lot!
-
Sounds great! - I've always liked them, and that era's kind of alternapop. Very fun guitar music to play

Love TTWS.
We had the pleasure to support them on their German tour ca. 1992/93.
Loaned them my band fellow's Earth Revival amp (a 2x12" Bassman clone) when their AC 30 bit the dust on the second date.Thinking of it, I have profiled it a while ago.
Thinking more, I have profiled an amp a famous band has used. Wow!
Sorry for the derail... -
Thanks, guys! I forgot to mention that the "bass" is a guitar run through the factory pitch shifter bass rig.

great tone - what was the guitar use? did you tweek at all the matchless?

The guitar was my MIM Strat with DiMarzio Area 61 (bridge) and 67 (middle) pickups. I did tweak the stack EQ a bit, and I think I played with the amp gain. Listening to it now I should have added a little more grind.
