I was watching into the layer the other day and Dave was explaining how he likes to widen guitars, it's a very intersting video but must be in mono as you don't hear the effect 
Well however, the guitar track he uses is a really, really cool sound. I have a guitar that has that ringy, dirty tone but I dont know how to create that sweet overdrive. Anyone has any recommendations how to achieve a similar overdrive sound? I know that part of it is the "fm-radio-eq-like setting, but apart from that which rig gets me in the ballpark?
