Buying a Matrix NL12 - 8 or 16 ohms? What power?

    Hey!


    Next month, I'm going to buy a Matrix NL12 and by the end of the summer I'll buy another one so I can bring both cabs to live gigs (That way, I can bring just one cab for rehearsals and jams and the two for gigs).


    Here are my 2 questions:


    Should I buy 8 or 16 Ohms cabs?


    Since my Kemper rack is non-powered, what solution do you recommend me? Something light, please!

    Amps from Matrix themselves have a very good reputation. GT1000 seems a good option if you just need 2 channels.
    As for the cabs' impedance, it all depends on your future amp's output in relationship with the loudspeakers' maximum load: the higher the impedance, the lower power the loudspeakers will have to dissipate.
    As for the Neolight, 600 W/8 ohm should fit the GT very well :)
