Hello!
I massively chopped the number of profiles I have on my Kemper to a few I like, therefore before I update to the newest firmware I need to know is there any way of not installing all the factory stuff I don't want?

Just make a backup of your rigs before you do the o.s. update.

Installing a firmware update does not install new factory content. This is completely separate. But of course, a backup never hurts

You can also use the Rig Manager, create a directory and copy all profiles in your KPA. Do your OS update and if you found for whatever reason that profiles are different after updating then just delete them all then copy from your created directory. I have many directories in my RM and dump their content in KPA depending on profiles that I already segregated before.

Updating the firmware does not update the rigs.
