Power Rack with 2 cabs

    Hi all,
    I was thinking of using my power rack with 2 cabs like this Kemper out>Genz Benz G-Flex 2x12 16ohm daisy chained out into Marshall 4x12 16ohm.
    I just wondering if this would damage the Kemper. Any thought?

    Thats a good question. I am not 100% sure if it will be safe for kemper or speakers. but 2 16 ohm loads would be 8 ohms if wired the same and the kemper can run 8 ohms but its 600 watts thats alot. I want to know if its safe also. I have 2 16 ohm cabs a 212 and 412 I want to run but didnt know if it would kill my powerrack.

    Not sure how a daisy chain connections is made, I believe you mean a serial chain. In this case the power amp would see a load of 32 ohm.
    If connected in parallel, the overall impedance would anyway be 8 ohm, which is by far in the ideal impedance range.


    The power amp would not be damaged anyway even tho the impedance was much lower: it only goes into protection mode when outputting over 700 watt, this translating into some second of muting.
