That is great Jorrit, I think I could figure it out too, as an Electrical Engineer myself, but I don't think I could do as well with the cost being so low already. I like to concentrate on jazz guitar. It does interest me though very much, got any specs to PM me?
Checking out power amps...

Thanks Greenblob, the Stealth seems like the obvious choice but it concerned me. Worth a try at such a low cost.

Hello.
There are many ways to build an neutral amp. A very easy and cheap way for a 40 Watt amp is for example a TDA2040 chip.
With a D-amp there is no problem to build a 400-1000 Watt in the Kemper-Back-Door. But than you need a Ferrit-Wire-Transformer and Shotky-High-Amp-Diodes. I have hundrets of Amp-Circuits on my PC (pdf).(sorry for my bad english) and with best regards Jorrit

I run my lunchbox into a Carvin DCM1000L. Good price, reliable, light-weight, killer tone, plenty of headroom!
