Trying to use the MonitorCabOff option

Hi,

I've configured many rigs of some performances with Cab=on, for using them with my headphones.... but yesterday, after connecting my KPA to my JCM900... when I've tried to deactivate the Cab option for all rigs (with MonitorCabOff = true), i did not hear any difference of sound for each rig i've tested...

Do you confirm, that i just have to press the Output button, and then check the MonitorCabOff option ? nothing else to do (another action for storing or validating the new state) ?
I suppose this setting must bybass all the rigs in Browse mode and Perform mode too ?

I noticed the same. Furthermore although with MonitorcabOff engaged, while switching through different cabs for the main out
the MonitorOut-Sound is influenced by the new chosen cab. I wonder wether user of the power rack may have the same issue?

Do this option need a particular KPA ouput to be used and connected to my JCM900 Amp ?
I've used the Right jack main ouput (mono) connected to my Marhsall Return FX...

The cab off option only applys to the monitor out.

Plug the monitor out jack to the return of your amp.
After, push the output button and go to the 3rd page of the menu, tick the box that indicates "Monitor cab off".
The cab sim now, is present only to your main outs.

What is your goal?
Do you use the input of your Amp or do you use the FX Loop?
If you go straigt into your input then the Preamp is in the Signalchain.

Best is to use the FX loop so the Preamp is bypassed and you go to the Poweramplifier.

The Monitor output ?
Hum, ok... so it's for this reason i did not hear the difference (i was using the KPA main output).

Pratchett, my goal was just to use the power amplifier... I do not need to use the preamp now i'm using the KAP one...
