Kemper, Ambrosi Poweramp plugged into Marshall Cab, mic'd with an SM57

I could have spent the entire day in the studio recording clips, but it would have been unnecessary.

All I wanted to do was record the "amp in the room" tone of the Kemper into a Poweramp and Cab mic'd with a simple SM57.
No messing around positioning the mic or going through hundreds of Profiles trying to find the ones that would best do the job.
I can tell you, inside the soundproof room was full on 100% genuine "amp in the room".

Beginning up to 1:47 is a Strat using the Franz Plaza Bassman 59 Profile.
From 1:47 to 3:18 is the same Strat using one of M.Britt's Dumble Profiles.
Then comes a Tokai Les Paul into the M.Britt 70 Marshall SL100.
Finally a clean tone using a Tokai Les Paul, can't remember the Profile, I turned down the Gain until it was clean.

Btw, I cranked the Ambrosi, it was never lower than 10, the Cab is 16ohm, so we're talking 32watts.
My ears are still ringing, it was seriously loud.

Next week we're going to record some clips plugging the Ambrosi into a 1x12 with an old Celestion Greenback 25watt speaker.

I must tell you the Strat (Texas specials) into the M.Britt Dumble starting at 1:47 was quite an experience at high volume.
It has a unique distortion tone that is addictive to play, it's like the distortion characteristics of a few different amps all combined into one unique distortion....you know you haven't heard or played anything like it before, at first it's a tad confusing but when your ears get used to it you just want to keep playing.
