Connect two Cabinets to the Powerhead

Some Cabinets do have a link port. But keep in mind the impedance of the cabinets.

You can use a Y-cable, or a parallel box.

Yep, even a Y-(cab)cord will do the job. Just keep in mind the overall impedance: the cabs are connected in parallel, and the impedance would be AB/(A+B)

Reading this... i wonder why Kemper didn't just add a parallel and a serial wired 1/4" jack to the speaker output?
I mean it's really just 2 simple jacks, one of them with a switching function, and it would make life so much easier for anyone playing more than one cabinet.

At least I don't think it's a space issue with the KPA's enclosure.

I'm not talking about stereo.. that's a totally different thing.
The Cab-Off parameter only works for mono operation due to hardware/DSP limitations, hence the Poweramp only makes sense for mono.

The "easiest" and most flexible way of having a true stereo KPA setup - which even does two profiles at a time - would probably be to buy two kempers.

More speaker jacks are just for connecting multiple speaker cabinets "spreading" the same source.

While staying within spec of the built in ICE PowerAmp module,
a second parallel wired jack would add the following possible combination:
- two 16 Ohm cabinets

and a serial wired speaker jack would add:
- two 4 Ohm cabinets
- two 8 Ohm cabinets
Plus some "mismatching" combinations, like "8 and 4" or "8 and 16", "4 and 8", "4 and 16" which I personally think only makes sense in rare cases, because of siginificant volume differences bewteen the cabinets.

It's just up to some simple math, what can be connected in which jack configurations, even though it might not be considered as entirely "end-user friendly".
