Kempr into GB / Apogee Duet 2 = feedback error!

    Got tired of fighting my old interface and I
    bought a mac mini with an Apogee Duet2......plugged in my 47 inch flat and
    ....WOW ...... Sweet setup.


    Anyone using this
    setup....I'm about two days in


    My dilemma is running my Kemper into the line
    input to record seems to be working fine with average levels but it keeps
    throwing out a feedback error....... says to remove
    monitoring
    .............Monitors off and I'm still getting it even with using
    headphones..... Disabled feedback and it seemed to be working.... with my
    headphones set low?


    Where is this coming from?

    Kemper monitor out to line 1 in ... two outputs to monitors..... also , can I run the monitors through the Apogee to A/B when profiling, or do I need to get a mini mixer to run straight from the Kemper?

    Are you using Apogee Maestro software to manage the Duet 2?
    I kinda remember when I used Duet 2 that there was a setting on Maestro that caused feedback issues, but I use MOTU know so it's been a while.

    I am using Maestro...... i'll do some more research but it looks pretty basic to manipulate.
    Apogee has stuff on a couple of vids that may help....try it later. ;)
