An unexpected profiling session occurred last week with the Mesa/Boogie Dual Caliber DC5.

I actually played this amp once before for 2 minutes and didn't get any tones I Iiked at all. I then researched settings online and noted people saying there is a nice blend of Rectifier and Mark tones in this amp; I gave it another whirl. After a few hours of tweaking and jamming, I found lots of tones to inspire. A big mid scoop on the graphic eq yielded the hi gain tones that I really enjoy. A few profiles based on that setting, as well as some mid boosted mid gain settings for friendly lead tones are presented in this pack. A Maxon TOD9 and a Maxon 808x were baked in on several of these profiles as I was enjoying the tones in the room (the TOD9 is smooth and the 808x is aggressive). I plan to create and post some of those tones; I do think there are Mark and Recto flavors in there that are fun to play. For now here I was feeling inspired by the clean tones of the pack; here is a super quick clip that I used as an intro on a recent video job:
Thanks for checking it out!
