It works pretty well right now as far as I can tell.
But is the editor able to read the current rig setup FROM the KPA? -
Yes, I'm pretty sure that there's a button you press. I can't remember right now what it is exactly.

There is a "Get Rig tags" button, but that will only fetch the amp and cab tags. -
I think what I done was I saved the current rig and then just scrolled to it on the editor.

No - but it is possible to script pool on button desired parameters or use bidi protocol combined with the pool method. This panel use the bidi protocol to get tune info from the KPA

Hello everybody,
the dropbox links to the KPA Stomps Panel & .exe on the title post are down.
Can anybody re-upload them please.
Thanks in advance!Soo... is the original post updated with the newest versions of everything, I wonder?

No - but it is possible to script pool on button desired parameters or use bidi…Hi,
I tested if it's possible to "sync" Kemper and a Ctrlr panel - it might be possible :). There's only two knobs at the moment (Gain and Bass).
The topmost knob sets the time interval between parameter requests. (I don't know how well it would work if all the available parameters are requested from Kemper and assigned to Ctrlr gui elements.)(I'm turning Gain and Bass -knobs on Kemper)KPA sync test.gif
As far as I know, Kemper doesn't send sysex messages when f.ex turning a knob on Kemper?
-
Ctrlr/Kemper parameter modulation from REAPER daw:
All sysex messages are sent twice...that's a "bug" in the Ctrlr.
-
More tests:
Getting gain, bass and rig name, (I'm browsing rigs by using the "browse" knob on Kemper)Still working smoothly

Hi & welcome,
and here it comes - advice for you directly from OP (Damian Greda). Unfortunately Damian was banned from this forum :(, but he is still reading and willing to help.Kudos to Damian!
Anti kudos to those who banned him.
Temporary workaround is to run script after panel is loaded:
initialize = function()
a=panel:getProperty("panelMidiControllerDevice")
panel:setPropertyString("panelMidiControllerDevice","-- None")
panel:setPropertyString("panelMidiControllerDevice",a)
console(a)
end -

Thanks Peto and Damian for the tips!
(I'm not a professional coder. I learned the basics of Lua by doing (Rea)scripts for REAPER. I also have to learn more about Ctrlr )

Here's the Ctrlr panel (for testing purposes) if someone wants to play with it:
KPA - two way communication.zip- Select MIDI in/out/controller -device
- Press "Two way communication" -button and it should work bi-directionally

Awesome work spk77!! Will give it a try tomorrow night. What happened to Damian? Sorry for off topic but he was such a huge contributor to this endeavor. Never read any of his posts that were offensive or such. -

I think the most interesting part of Ctrlr panels is "parameter modulation".
Ctrlr itself can be used as a vst(i): -
He was banned by Kemper.

For? -
Probably because he knew too much and shared too much of that information...
Aside from these "political difficulties" this editor looks very promising to me, I haven't tried it yet, but I'm looking forward to it when I'm back at my KPA.
Like many users I'm wondering if Kemper has some editor or DAW integration possibilities on their agenda.
