I have a tone with delay and effects which I want to profile exactly how it is without any . I seems to just get junk when profiling it.
Any idea what I need to do to profile it?

Yes. Look at the rig exchange or in Rig Manager for users meambobbo and paults - the rigs have names that include words like reverb, shine, shimmer.
