Rich, I just purchased the EVH pack. How do I receive it? Other profiles I have purchased, the downloads are automatically sent upon payment.

Hi Rich, good to see you making great progress creating profiles!
I have already found good profiles for classic rock marshall sounds using a 1960B cabinet, but I guess using your direct profiles will push it even a bit further.
What I am really seeking for is a clean profile for direct usage with my 1960B. I did not have any good results up to now.My focus is on live usage only, playing through a guitar cab. The "old school" setup.
Which of your profiles or packs would you recommend, especially for the clean sounds?

Hmmmm...if you are only looking for direct clean profile, theEVH is pretty good or even the DSL. If you are like me and don't mind using studio profiles, theRoland sounds great too .I use studio profiles through my Marshall cab. I like what the mics do to the sound .

Very interesting.
I would expect that a direct profile will resemble the original amp much better, at least if you use the same cab that has been used for profiling. Would you say that is not the case?Anyway. I am surprised you did not recommend your fender rigs for cleans. Just ordered the fender pack for trial on your website. maybe the DSL pack would have been better for my testing (also because it contains direct/merged/studios). Could you change my order to a DSL pack?

The Fender pack isn't direct...that's why I suggested the others. I think your fender choice was emailed out...let me know your email address and I'll send you something else.
I, personally, think the studio profiles sound better than the direct profiles. I just think that the combination of the amp, speakers and mics plus studio know how gives it that certain something that direct don't have to me. You may think otherwise! All my live rigs I run through a traditional guitar cab with studio profiles with cabs off but I send the full profiles to FOH.

yes, your email has arrived already, and the second too (you are super fast man thanks
Well the basic idea behind direct profiles was to reproduce the original amp, assuming that is what you want. If it turns out that a studio profile is enhancing the sound even through a git-cab, that´s even better. Makes it much easier. You are a lucky man if you have got that going already
I think it´s just a matter of finding the right profile, matching the cab, guitar and the personal taste.
I will checked the profiles you have sent. They sound great as studio profiles.
The direct profiles I will have to check later in the rehearsal room with the 412 at a higher volume. I will give you feedback. -
It all depends on what each player likes! You may dig the direct more than I do. I just think that when a studio profile is done correctly, it just enhances the amp...that's just me though. I hope you like them!

Awesome! Glad you like the profile and thanks so much for letting me know. Make sure to join the email list if you haven't
No sooner said than done, yestarday I bought the jcm800. What can I say? Finally I got The Marshall; the profiles sounds exactly as I wanted !
To my ears they have only some pronuciated annoying frequencies around 2.4 khz but I think it can be fixed with eq. Awesome anyway! Thanks -

The 800 is a cool amp...I get what you're hearing as I hear it on certain speakers while not on others. Glad it is working for you! Make some clips if you get a chance!

Coming up on the end of this promo soon...for those that took the time to try our stuff out...did the profile work for you? Is there anything we can do to improve upon what we are doing?
