I have a PRS Archon that I want to just the preamp section of for my gain presets. How do I go about doing this with the powered kemper rack. I want to use the kemper for cleans only. Thanks for any help.

Why not profile the Archon?
If all you bought the Kemper for was the cleans, you just bought an insanely overpriced clean amp.
-
Because the Archon cuts through the band mix better than the kempers profile of it. Maybe it's the tubes making it do that.
Also I'd like to keep the kemper for its fx and for recording purposes.

The easiest way I've found is to runs cable out of your monitor out around instrument level (-20db or so) into the front of your archon. Then disengage the entire stack on the kemper ( cab, amp, EQ). You now will have basically a huge pedal board in front of your amp.

Can the Archon be used without a cabinet? Most tube amps cannot be used without a cabinet load connected to the amp output. I suggest checking with PRS about this.
*IF* the Archon can be used without a cabinet, it would be a "three cable method":
1) Guitar to Kemper
2) Kemper FX send to Archon Input
3) Archon FX send to Kemper FX ReturnRigs without the Kemper FX Loop enabled would be just the Kemper.
If you turn the Kemper Amp/Cab OFF in a Rig and turn the FX Loop ON in the Rig, the Archon preamp would be active.

I would be using a cab with this set up not direct in.

1) Guitar to Kemper
2) Kemper FX send to Archon Input
3) Archon FX send to Kemper FX ReturnThen, the fourth cable would be:
4) Kemper Main Out (set to Mono) *or* Monitor Out to the Archon FX Return. -
in this 4 cable method, would i put loop level to 0, main out to max? i feel like my output signal is always red when i'm playing and there's a lot of background noise....any suggestions?
