I've tried the eBow a couple of times, but find them bulky and cumbersome to hold. I've not tried a Wond, but the fact that it is held more like a pick would be a big plus to me.

yep - and i was trying to use some slow grow effects to achieve such results

I use the eBow quite a lot in my band -- check the songs Sorrow (0:05-0:45) and Blossom (starting around 1:07) here for two different styles -- and I don't find it that cumbersome. I like that its shape allows you to rest it on the strings above and below the one you're playing, whereas the "Wond" is held in mid-air. Bending notes and "following" the string with the eBow is not as tricky as the guy in the video makes it seem, although I imagine it would indeed be easier with the Wond.
The extra features make it really interesting, though, especially the ability to generate an energy pulse by pinching the device. Thanks for the tip!
