Remote looper: any way to include line in device in loop memory?

I'm really enjoying using the looper for trying out ideas, improvising and so on. I just found an old Roland drum machine, and it is still working perfectly. So I connected it line in to my KPA and it is fine. When I record a loop using my Remote, it loops the guitar part I'm playing, but not the drum part.

Any idea if this can be done to loop both parts? I'd guess not, but it would be nice if there is a way. Thanks for any suggestions!

Yes - but it have additional ad converters - and it is no problem to record a loop from there and sum this with guitar loop.

You could try this:

Add an FX Loop to a Rig, with the Drums connected to the FX Return.

Press Play on the Drum machine,

turn on the Looper.

record the drums.

Loop the drums.

Switch to another rig without an FX loop.

Play your guitar over the drum loop.

BUT - it would be MUCH simpler to just use the Drum machine into the AUX IN of the KPA, like you have it now

Drum machines usually have the ability to loop the patterns in a programmed sequence (or can just loop one pattern, if that is all you need). If you download a manual for the drum machine you found, you will know for sure.

Thanks for the suggestions, I realised it was a bit of a long shot. And yes, I did read the manual!
