Powering guitar amp + cab and matrix q12a

    Hi KPA Folk


    firsly I have a none powered KPA what I would like to try is the following:


    Use the KPA send my messa combo return, I'm right in thinking that it just uses my messa's pre amp? Then I'd like to run a powered FRFR cab from the main out, ideally! I know that to get the best out of my messa I would need to switch the cab emulater off on the KPA Is there any way you could have cab on for FRFR speaker and off for the messa at the same time? THE ANSWERS NO ISN'T IT!!


    if if that's the case and I suspect it is! Am I right in thinking if I wanted to run a pair of FRFR speakers one would need to be powered and the other passive from my none powered KPA?

    Kemper Monitor Out --> Messa(?) Combo Return
    Kemper Main Out Left --> active FRFR speaker no. 1
    Kemper Main Out Right --> active FRFR speaker no. 2
    (Kemper Direct Out --> active FRFR speaker no. 3, if you want to use that many :D )


    Go to the Kemper Output Menu and make sure "Monitor Cab Off" is ticked and Main Output is set to "Master Stereo", Monitor Output to "Master Mono" (and Direct Out to "Master Mono" ;) )
