DI Profile with Mesa Cab Clone

    I just got the Kemper Powerhead and am planning to make DI Profiles of my tube amps. I couldn't find the right info on the forum so far. Would the Mesa Boogie Cab Clone be okay as a load box and DI to do so? Is it necssary then to connect the amp to a cab during profiling? I'm planning to use a regular Guitar Speaker Cab with the powerhead. All help is welcome! Thanks!

    The Cab Clone can function as a load box, yes. You'll just want to remember that it adds a cab emulation, so it will be a variation of a "true" DI signal that represents just the amp alone.
