Updating question regarding my usb drive

Just bought my Kemper today. I have firmware 3.2.0 and want to update for the first time to 3.2.1 . I have a usb card that was formatted on my PC for saving folders from my old PC to my new one . Following Kemper's instructions, I inserted the USB card into my Kemper and nothing happens . Kemper says that the Profiler should see it and format it to fat32 at which point I can transfer the new firmware from the PC to the Kemper.

When I insert the empty USB drive into the Kemper , nothing happens . What do I have to do to make the Kemper format it ? Thanks

Update .Just figured it out .The Kemper instructions make it seem like the Kemper does the formatting automatically . For anyone who is reading this because htye have the same question, the procedure is to insert your USB card into the Kemper and then you need to use one of the four buttons above the display to select "external storage" .After that , you get options for formatting ,updating or exporting .
