How are you guys/gals fixing your Remote to your pedal boards? In particular, to the Pedaltrain type of boards. The screws holding the rubber feet don't align with the metal slats on the 'board.
It really, really annoys me that all of the research goes into these things, yet not a single thought ever goes into how they might be securely attached to your board. It's not just Kemper, it's pretty much every single manufacturer of fx pedals out there. So you wind up cobbling them on with bits of Velcro, zip ties, bungee cords and what-not. I wish that an industry standard fixing plate, or device could be initiated by someone.
For the record I don't like using Velcro as it defaces the bottom, often obscuring serial numbers and power requirements. It also lowers the value should you fall out of love with the pedal. Zip ties invariably end up removing the paint off pedals, so I'm not a fan of those either. I've yet to find a solution that I'm happy with, ie, one that fixes the pedals safely, securely, and without damaging or defacing them in any way.
Any ideas/products that might be of use?
