"Cabinet" on when using speaker cab?

Hi guys,

New Kemper user here. I've seen a bunch of youtube videos of Kemper players. Some have the "cabinet" function on, while others have it off. I have personally tried it both ways (on and off) in my set up, basically Kemper's monitor out to a Marshall MG100"s efx return to a Diezel 4x12 cab, and I can't say that there is a significant difference IMO. And again, it might be my set up, but can one of you help me out? I'm planning to use the Kemper it in a live situation soon. Is there a proper way to have it set up for a live performance?

Welcome.
There's no rule. Technically speaking it would be correct to turn off cab when going into the FX Return of a Guitar amp, but some users have reported to get better results with cab on.
Use your ears.

yes if it sounds good with it one then go for it, There is no right or wrong way
