For hours I tried to get a decent copy of this audio example, using the harmonizing stomps in the Kemper. I need it for One of these nights. I know you have to understand the way harmonizing works, but I can't get it done. Can anyone explain if this is possible with Kemper and guitar? And how you do that or do I need more/other stuff?

One of these nights in in e minor. You program G major/e minor as the root key.
You play the high notes and have the low notes added by the harmonizer.
In this case you start to play a G and add -3 semitones etc. -
Thanks Ingolf I'll try this.
-
I'm sorrry but it sounds awful. Certainly I'm doing it wrong.

Try harmony effect after amp section (X or Mod). You can also try formant shift on and off, or adjust it to your taste.

The high part seems to not change throughout the part. The lower pitched line does change.
I would think you need to play the lower part and use the Harmonic Pitch stomp with a user scale. -
I think I got it. You need the Harmonic Stomp with two user scales. Set them as in the attached pictures. Set the key to G/Em.
You're going to play the lowest line: the hammer-on from the 7th to the 9th fret on the D-string. The second part is the hammer-on from the 7th to the 10th fret on the D-string. The last part are four notes, played on the 7th fret on the G-string.
You have to play a little bit with the Voice Mix and Mix. For the last four notes, you don't play the lowest line anymore but the middle one so you have a lower and higher harmonized note. Maybe it sounds better to just play a Bm chord here.

Hi Daan,
Thanks for you reply. But I haven't got a clue. I guess I don't have this Harmonic stomp. I don't see these user scales
-
Put the "Harmonic Pitch" in the X position. Then choose the "Voice 1 Interval" and "Voice 2 Interval" to be "User Scale1" and User Scale2" (turn all the way right past "+3 Oct"). Then use soft buttons 1 and 2 to edit the user scales. Then use the page buttons and set the Steps so it looks like in the pictures of my reply.

I humbly bow for you....This is not to possible to achieve for simple mortal souls!
Thank you!Still I wonder how this guy is doing this with finger on the B-string (?) 7th position to 8 and also manages to let the first two bass tone sound as a B and the third bass tone as a C
-
They did that with multiple guitar tracks
-
Seems not likely (only one guy, playing live(?) But then again, nothing else to be seen...

He is:
A)using a pedal to change the harmony pitch (like my pedal steel rig on the exchange)
or
B)switching to a different harmony interval effect.
-
Yes, indeed. He is changing the harmony effect. You can do it this way too, but then you have to use three performance slots with the different harmonies. It would probably sound better, as you are pitch shifting down, which generally sounds a little better.
If you want, I can give you the right settings for the harmonizer. -
I appreciate you offer very much. But I guess this is going beyond my capabilities. Maybe in time...
Thanks again
