Kill delay + reverb tails

  • Does anybody know if it's possible to kill the delay and reverb tails with a switch or something like that?

We have a few songs with breaks that have to be dead silent, and so far the only way I've been able to solve it, is by placing the volume pedal post fx, which will of course only work if that break is long enough for the delay feedback to die out.
    I'm on OS 3.3.

    Thanks!

  • I thought about that too.. But I don't really feel comfortable using a beta-version on stage.. Maybe that's just me being paranoid.. ?(

  • Doable in 3.3, if you attach an external momentary switch to either Profiler or Profiler Remote and assign "Delay on/off" to it, which cuts the spillover in opposition to "Delay on/off tail".

In 4.0 the same switching function could be assigned to the Remote's LOOPER, TUNER, or TAP button. Check Button Assignments on page Remote Settings in System Menu.

By the way, loading two Rigs quickly in a row might do the job as well. Spillover only survives one Rig load.
