Rig Manager Database problem

  • Hi! I cleaned up my computer and started from scratch but had my rig manager folder saved and replaced into the appropriate location. I've done this before and the rig manager shows all my local profiles. This time I did it when upgrading to Mac OS Sierra and none of them show up. I have a file that says locallibrary.db but it won't let me restore from that file. any suggestions?! a lot of them were commercial profiles that I no longer have elsewhere :(

  • Did you also upgrade Rig Manager from 1.5 to 1.6 when updating to macOS Sierra? The database format has changed, so this might explain the problem. In any case you should use Rig Manager's backup function instead of copying folders. If you find no other solution, contact support and send them the locallibrary.db file (if the commercial rig vendor's license agreement allows that). We might be able to restore the rigs from that file.
