Why a link to another thread doesn't work? [solved]

If we just copy the html adress of a thread from the browser and post it in another thread (to tell somebody that an issue has alredy been discussed and point him to right direction, just to make an example), the link lead to an error message.....
Any of the admin want to chime in?
