problem formatting USB stick ?

Hi

I just got one of these boxes ! love it!

could someone help me though. I want to start loading some downloaded rigs/profiles but I understand I need my USB stick to be formatted right first? I've put a blank USB stick in the back but it doesnt do anything in terms of formatting it. I found a format option but I then put the stick in my MAC and there are no folders etc...

anyone shed some light on this?

Welcome to the magic zone.

On your USB stick create a new folder called "Shared".
Download the Profile files and put them in the Shared folder.
Then insert the stick into the KPA and follow instructions.

Btw, my initials are LW, so all my Profiles/Rig names start with LW.
Here's one for you if you use a Tele.

Funny, it should also create the folders by formatting.
You'll need 3 folders on the usb key:
Shared
OS update
Backups

Then, inside of Shared, create another one called "Rigs"
All the profiles you"ll download need to be placed in this last one. Be aware that if you modify the profiles (adding fx or changing anything) the result will be a new rig for the KPA. This mean that if you leave the Profiles in Shared/Rigs they will be imported again the next time you use the usb key, creating a duplicate. I normally delete the shared rigs after importing
