SPDIF Out and Alesis MasterControl

    I used analogue up to now - tried the SPDIF - did not work for me.
    -Less output level
    -More 'fizzy' sound
    -A lot of other unwanted noise


    Anyone here with a working Alesis?


    Tried another cable does not work - other device (Drum Computer used to work fine).

    Hi Armin, I use an M-Audio Profire 610 but I certainly experience the first 2 out of your 3 listed problems........

    I just compared them to the analog outs and... maybe I'm just hearing things, but I think you are right. It seems a bit more fizzy and weak when compared to the analog outs. I use a RME 9632 PCI card.
