Stemast: I also just mailed the guys from http://megacase.co.uk and asked "can I use the front plugins while the KPA is standing in the case" ...I give an update when I got answer!
Cheers, friend!
Ive mounted mine in a 4 rack SKB case (Mr Pollocks idea) and setting it on an amp stand. Ill post pics tomorrow.
Hi, if you find the time, could you post a pic of your kemper in a rack? I would really like to see what it looks like! And how you mounted it.
The video quality isnt great but you can see what I got going. Did this video in February I think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx02RbU8muw
Thanks! Looks great!
How did you affix the Kemper so it doesn't move?
Thats the tricky part. I removed the feet from the Kemper, taped 2 pcs. of note book paper together, laid it on the bottom of the Kemper, and poked holes where the feet were. I then taped it to the bottom of the case and drilled holes. Of course the screws that came out of the feet were not long enough. I had to go to the hardware store (took a screw with me) and get several lengths. I then by trial and error found the right one to use. A word of warning though if you or anyone else is going to attempt this. Where the feet screw in, there is no screw stop. In other words if you use too long of a screw you can go up through the Kemper and hit the circuit board. So start with the smallest screw and work your way up.
The case is perfect for me, but there is a Kemper bag that is pretty cool as well.
Pretty important thread considering the new shape of the kemper as aposed to units we already own. Nice!
Gator Bass Drum Pedal Bag
I have got the THON case for gigs as shown above. It's sturdy, light and the KPA fits smoothly inside.
For transporting it to rehearsal or other locations I also have this cheap Gator Bass Drum Pedal Bag.
It's just 20,- EUR at Thomann and built quite well for the price. Also the KPA fits nicely inside, the knobs are showing to the top side which makes them not so vulnerable although especially this side is cushioned really well.

That's awesome !!!
I'll order it,too.
Edit: Sorry, i did not see, that the last post was written one year ago....
Is there another bag, that is suitable for the kemper ?
I read somewhere that people where suggesting fishing bags and did some research. There are many different mostly called "carryall" bags that the Kemper will fit in and that are quite reasonable priced.
I went with a Chub Vantage Carryall Medium (http://www.chubfishing.com/de-…taschen/vantage-carryall/) which can hold my Kemper and a flat toolbox in the main department (I yet have to build some seperation wall to separate the box and the Kemper) as well as all cables and some other stuff in the other three parts of the bag. The quality of the bag is great, nicely padded and fat shoulder strap. Its also water resistant. It is not as small and handy as the official bag but only half the price and I could ditch the case I was using before to carry cables, tools, string etc.
If there's interest I can take a picture when I'm at home.

That would be much appreciated!
There you go.
