How to gain full access to the boards here as an user

Go to the main Kemper homepage (not this board here).
Log in.
Then click on your logged in name -> you are in your profile now.
Click on the tab "register your amp". Then register your amp and next click on "upgrade your account" on the same page.
Voilà

Did you go to the "upgrade your account" tab?

Hmmm... strange. Could you contact support about this?
Did you maybe get an email link or anything from Kemper when you registered?

Sorry it didn't work - it should after going to the "upgrade your account" tab, and I have no idea why it does not in your case. So contacting support is all that I can think of.
No effort on my part - just trying to help you out.

Anyway, I understand you feeling not overly positive. The software, the Kemper homepage and this forum are still work in progress so it takes patience and sometimes all you get is frustration. Anyway, to me it is worth it - as I feel the KPA is the best thing out there in the digital world. Plus, I know they will get this right sooner or later - but I understand anyone that is put off by this whole beta-phase.

Log out, delete all the cookies and the history from your browser and log in again. Some other user had the same problem and solved it in this way.

Have you tried logging out from both (forum and wepage) and logging in to the forum first?

I did the following

Go to http://kemper-amps.com (not the forum)
Logout if logged in already
Refresh the browser
Click login in the top right of the screen
Enter email, password and click the keep me logged in for 2 weeks button.
Click login.
Once logged in your name should appear in the top right
Click on you name to go to your profile
Click register your amp
Enter your serial number and click upgrade your account.

It worked for me, it works in chrome, firefox and IE here.

If it's still not working then it could be some kind of anti-virus/internet protection software?

Some users couldn't see any threads because they hadn't clicked the + symbol on the start page.
That trick could fix it. The symbol then show - like it should.
The symbol is located to the left of both the "Public and Private forums" headlines.

I had the same problem when I upgraded but then I noticed a little "plus +" sign that I clicked and everything was available.

This forum: main page. Look next to "public forum" and next to "private forum" (on the left side of those). If you see a plus (+) next to these, click on it, and all the various sections will appear.

The sub-categories also have + and - symbols.
