Ok I might just possibly be really dumb or something, but I'm not a very technical guy...
I can't get sound from it. I do get a signal as in input signal on the amp, and I can use it normally with headphones, but not with a cabinet / sound card. I've tried both monitor output and speaker output with both instrument cable and speaker cable, but it doesn't seem to work...
I'm grateful for any help I can get!!

Welcome! Monitor out was plugged into? When you strum your guitar, you should see the green lights light up above the input button as well as the output button. If the output light is showing a signal then go to the output settings a check what the Monitor out is set to on page 1 and on page 2 check the Monitor Output volume. Only plug passive speakers into the Speaker Output, like non-powered guitar cabs. We'll proceed from there.
Hey brother, push the output button and get screen up, page 1 of 7 will have monitor output, make sure it is on master mono, it sounds like it might be in the off position.
Then go to page 2 and check your monitor volume,
