Dunlop dvp3 for volume and pitch. Will one pedal do both?

  • Hi everyone, thanks in advance. Will one Dunlop dvp3 or the Moog ep3 expression pedal function for both Volume and pitch? I see many people saying they have a pedal for each. Ideally I'd like to use only one dvp3 to manipulate Volume for swells, and pitch effects at seperate times. Cheers.

  • Yes. If you enable Pitch>Vol it will work as a Volume pedal if no pitch pedal effects are active.

Personally I haven't gotten used to it just yet and often ends up with the volume being less than 100 percent accidently.

  • Thanks musicmad. Is it a glitch that causes that volume percentage problem or something that can be overcome.

Oh it's totally user error I think. Let's say I end the pitch effect in heel position and then ever so briefly touch the pedal it drops to that volume level as well. I'm sure you can make it work.
