Kemper & Pro Tools spdif problem

    So im recording my bands ep guitars & bass and so far everything has worked until today.

    Im recording with spdif and I have no sound suddenly...


    My interface is focusrite clarett 8 thunderbolt.

    Focusrite control is set to 44.1, kemper is 44.1 and Pro Tools also.


    Pro Tools shows Kemper SPDIF inputs but I have no sound from kemper but daw playback works.

    I also can send from Pro Tools DI signal to kemper but no output from kemper to pro tools.

    I have set kemper spdif output to send DI and amped signal.

    My syncsource is internal and it locks, but when I switch sync source to spdif in wont lock. But i dont think thats the problem because beforenit worked like a charm.


    Does any one have any ideas what’s the problem?


    Im running Pro Tools 2018 and Macbook pro if that helps at all.

    first thing I'd do is check the playback engine and be sure the Clarett is still selected.

    next thing would be to check the I/O set up for the session you have open and see if that changed.


    can you go back to a session where it worked and see if it's still working (on input) there?
