Have you ever listened to a profile and thought 'I like the overall vibe, but it just sounds too smeared & messy'? I certainly have, and the first thing I do is go to the Clarity parameter and set it somewhere between 4 and 5.5 - *big* difference immediately! Sometimes I then need to refine the Amp's EQ and gain settings, but the end result is usually stellar. 'Hats off' to Christoff for this innovative and useful feature of the KPA...
Clarity control - a stroke of genius!

I'm impressed too, of this control.

Wow, what a difference! Thanks for the tip!!!!!

The cool thing is that even though the sound gets 'cleaned up', the sustain is still there - this seems ideal for modifying lead sounds for playing melodies & lines.
PS: This post has been found to be 'devious free'

Praise the Lord, it's a miracle!!!
Hadley has started a devious free Thread praising the Kemper.

LOL! I took some 'deviom-be-gone' tablets, and suddenly I feel pretty! (but how do you know this isn't just a setup, with a 'doubly-devious' ending!) You really can't be too careful around here...

Damn, I didn't even know that option existed. Not much of a manual reader here =). That tip was indeed awesome and I'm getting some really nice results with some rigs that I didn't even like in the beginning. Thanks for posting this.

Yes, it's a great shaping tool - I use on most of my OD tones.
