After being inspired by sheguitarplayers fantastic yjm profiles I wrote this real quick today. Rhythm is yjm profile 004 with Tills 06 cab and the lead is Erik's Legacy profile. All vst keys were programmed using ewql and vsl librarys. http://soundcloud.com/chrisbea…se-of-the-beaver-part-one

LOL!!!!
Haha, actually that part reminded me of one of those old Amiga games (yes, I love retro) - so I found myself head-banging when that part started...Let's see if I can find it.
Ok found it - it's actually an old Amiga demo (called Desert Dream)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l1ESPjAyPk&feature=channel
(also if you like this, check the first part of the demo as well, which is my favorite regarding sound and melody)

The Amiga brings back fun memories i love old game music scores The first part of desert dream would sound huge with guitars it sounds great i think a lot of that gaming era was influenced by people like Alan Parsons i still love his ( I Robot from 1977) There's so many clever melodies in this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgJA7lPkb1o

Bummer... unfortunately the link doesn't play here.
I get this:
"Unfortunately, this SME-music-content is not available in Germany because GEMA has not granted the respective music publishing rights."
Will try to find it somewhere else around the net... -

Wow, this is awesome! Some truly great, interesting and inspiring melodies... I love how he adds "atmosphere" with the choir. Thanks for sharing this!

It was tough but I imagined an army of Beavers rising up out of a muddy pond after being suppressed for so many years. Or does "beaver" apply to something else?
