I had an issue with the remote with the new update as well as a few others. I'm thinking they are sending a bit less power through the ethernet. I just added a POE device and it solved the problem(I never had the issue before the update) Luckily I have everything in a rack with a patch panel and it's easily secured in there and always on. With a toaster it wouldn't be so easy.
