Hi, I bought the "All Marshall Amps Bundle" and a Fender pack. I am really wondering, how these rigs are profiled.
In every amp pack are 10 profiles. But it seems the amp + cab has been only profiled one time or at most two times! Then simple the gain button and Kemper EQ was used to produce the other profiles. So in every pack the cab seems to be identical to all 10 rigs. The Definition parameter is always the same too. And the different "sounds" of the amp are only variations of 1 or 2 profiles?!
If this is true, how can this be a true representation of an amp?
If I turn up gain on a low gain profile (with gain at 1.5) to 8.3, it now sounds exactly like the high gain profile. This is not possible, except that the low gain profile is only made of the high gain profile by just turning down the gain on the Kemper.
Specific question: For example, how many profiles did you make of the Marhall JVM410 (the amp has 4 channels with 12 basic sounds)?

The answer is very easy!
All profile were made with a simple SM57 (Shure) and A Laney 212 or Marshal 412
(as 99x100 about my profiles) because is the mic that I better know in studio session.
In profiling mood, my goal is to raise the gain while maintaining a linear sound with the previous ones. it's just a question of my personal taste in profiling. Each has its own peculiarities. this is the Liveplayrock philosophy.
In the studio, during the profiling session I created many profiles, and over time I have selected (and still continue to select, based on the changing right) the sounds that I think are the best! ...but I repeat it is a matter of personal taste and Liveplayrock philosophy.
I hope I have given you a clear answer,

The answer is very easy!

Nope 
The work consists in creating 10 different gain states with the OD channel of the preamp JMP1 (in this case you mentioned) and gradually increasing the saturation by profiling the various steps. At each profiling I adjusted the Eq parameters of the preamp if I heard a sound too dark or clear compared to the previous one. The kemper, automatically, by profiling it, obviously increases the gain load (visually).
I know, it's a crazy thing, but I like it that way! ...or rather, it makes sense in my philosophy of making sounds!
