Kemper Stage as Midi Controller for Ableton Live

    Hi,


    I haven't been able to find any thread about this question : is there any way to use the Kemper Stage as a midi controller for Ableton Live?


    I receive midi activity in Ableton when I hit the stage's footswitches, but it seems like it's not taken under consideration by Ableton. Is this because the Stage sends program changes, and Ableton needs control changes, or vice versa?


    If so, is there any way / option to activate, so I can use the stage, just as I would use for example, a Behringer FCB 1010?

    Does the MIDI ‘learn’ function in Ableton not include Program Changes in its scope then? I ask without being able to check for myself. I know Ableton can generate them. If not, you may be looking at ‘Max For Live’ to create a custom tool that translates them.

    Ok, thanks friends, so that's well what I was thinking... The more it goes, the more I find that this device lacks a lot of features...
    Anyways, I'm gonna try EdwardArnold solution.
