Player - How to assign effect to virtual effect-buttons I-IIII?

I just wanted to assign the freeze function on the brand new player to footswitch 2. But can’t figure it out how. Any ideas?

That was leading to the more general question: How to assign effects to the virtual effect-buttons I-IIII?
