Hi, just experimenting with KPA to Matrix 800FX to real cab. My another set is KPA>Mesa 20/20> same cab.
For some reason I was missing that "tube feeling" and put Multivalve to KPA:s x loop -now its better! 
(I have only that tube on, nothing else..)

I don't know if it's really the tube to make the difference or just a placebo fx 
By the way i felt that i was missing something "tubey" when i was with the Axe Fx Ultra and thought about the several tube buffers on the market.
Then i bought the KPA I liked it a lot.
Then a bought a powered cab for live shows and i'm blown away

For some reason I dont believe in placebo effect.. 
The tube actually makes good things in that Multivalve and it is easy to test just taking it away from KPA:s loop .
BTW: I also did have Axe and felt absolutely the same.
Also Axe did sound a lot better with a real tubeamp -not so good as KPA anyway
