What is the perfect footswitch solution

Hi all - I know there are many treads about this topic. But I want to use the Kemper as comfortable as it could be. So I have some questions

1. Is there a Midi-Footswitch on the market that automaticly recognize the status of the Effects (on/off)?
2. I use a Behringer FCB 1010 UNO at the moment - maybe there is a solution available (without endless programming work)
3. Is there anybody who has experince with a voodoo lab ground control oder a Rocktron Midi Raider - maybe one of them could be a solution for my first question.

1- the Kemper doesn't supports yet 2-way communication, that's why we are all waiting for the dedicated controller.

The UNO equipped FCB1010 works great for me with only one caveat...the stompbox row lights do not automatically indicate when an effect is on. Though they do control them. Let me know if you need the SYSEX dump.

Hi everyone,

Having just read various posts supporting the Behringer pedalboard, I'm hoping you can give me a vote of confidence (and perhaps some advice) before I dive in.

I just bought the FCB today. I've read conflicting reviews regarding the ease/compatibility between the Kemper and FCB. For starters, I really just want the board to facilitate profile changes. Everything else is icing on the cake. Will I need to do any essential programming to reconcile the KPA with the FCB? Please advise!

As McRalfix hinted at, do yourself a favour and make use of the lg-fcb editor.
Makes programming of the FCB very easy.

I concur, after fiddling with the board itself for days, i caved and bought the editor. Its a walk in the park now.

Hello, I read your conversation seeking solutions to match the KPA with the pedal behringer fcb 1010 with a chip UnO inserted.I do not know much about midi and I would be very grateful if you could send me the SysEx you use to control them so that they can understand something of how to program. For all the new users whom might be interested.
Apart from the last week's contents, which will be included in the upcoming issue, the wiKPA collects a lot of infos (from this very site and elsewhere) about using the FCB1010 and other MIDi solutions as well.
