Help with Interface and recording

    A while back i bought the Presonus 22 VSL interface.



    I was wanting to do some recording in stereo so i was planning on using the Kemper's master outputs into inputs 1 and 2 on the VSL.


    But ive read that these inputs should not be used for active instruments(those that have an internal preamp or a line-level output) and i
    should i have purchased an interface with 'line' inputs if i was wanting to record this way?


    So, is this interface only good to me for taking a dry mono recording from the direct out of the kemper?






    As incredible as it may sound (to me), you're right: there's no line-level input on this model: it just accepts mics and passive signals. So bad :(


    You may definitely want to get the next model, ultra-low latency is a very interesting issue anyway...

    Well that $#*king sucks! Waste of coin that was.
